Join the New Albany Chamber of Commerce HR Council Breakfast, May 9, 2017, 7:30am-9am at the Phil Heit Center to hear Brendan Feheley of Kegler Brown discuss the recent Ohio legislation related to medical marijuana and the new Ohio law that began this month allowing employees to bring guns to company parking lots and licensed Ohioans to carry concealed guns to more places.  Brendan will provide a brief primer of these new laws for the group and facilitate a Q & A regarding employer obligations in response to the legislation.

About Brendan Feheley
Brendan, Director and Co-chair of Kegler Brown's Labor + Employment practice, advises clients regarding personnel issues, including hiring and firing lawfully, FMLA compliance, drug and alcohol testing, Fair Labor Standards Act compliance, and government contracting. He also has experience in the development and preparation of employment agreements, employee handbooks, confidentiality and non-compete agreements, affirmative action plans, separation agreements and releases, and independent contractor agreements.
