Yoga for Back Pain
This class will provide information and active participation from a chair on how yoga can be used to manage low back pain. Several recent research articles support the performance of yoga in order to decrease low back pain and increase function. Yoga consists of breathing, meditation, and physical exercises known as asanas. Introductory movements will be demonstrated and explored to gain a basic understanding of the benefits and determine if yoga may be right for you.
