DESCRIPTION:The sixth "In Honor of Jacob Hunter" blood drive will be held March 18\, 2024 at New Albany United Methodist Church. Jacob is a 15 year old sophomore from New Albany diagnosed with leukemia in 2021. Jacob is now in remission and he continues to support the nearly 60\,000 people expected to be diagnosed with leukemia and 16\,000 kids diagnosed with cancer each year through blood drives held in his honor. Please join Jacob and the more than 320 people who have given blood in his honor and given hope and support to those in need. Openings are available for both Whole Blood and Power Red donations.
