DESCRIPTION:Community Is Stronger Than Cancer: Practical Support for Patients\, Survivors\, and Care\n\nA cancer diagnosis impacts more than the body\, it affects emotions\, relationships\, routines\, and the day-to-day life of the whole family. In this session\, Cancer Support Community Central Ohio will walk attendees through the no-cost\, non-medical support available locally for any diagnosis and any stage\, including options for support groups\, individual counseling\, educational programs\, and wellness-focused offerings designed to strengthen quality of life. Participants will also learn what to expect from CSC's Newcomer Welcome\, a one-time orientation that introduces services and helps people build an Individual Wellness Plan so they can choose the right supports for their situation.
