DESCRIPTION:Empty Bowls is a charitable concept that allows artists and groups to create and donate bowls\, then serve a simple meal. Guests of the event choose a bowl to eat from and then keep as a reminder of all the empty bowls still left in the world. The event is to create awareness not only for people living in poverty\, but others who find themselves faced with temporary\, food emergencies in need of support even in our own community. The menu is set for Empty Bowls 2017! Join us at the New Albany Middle School cafeteria from 5:00 - 7:00 PM for a modest meal hosted by the Middle School Art Department.
