DESCRIPTION:Presented by the New Albany Chamber of Commerce\, the Independence Day Parade & Festival is a favorite annual tradition that fosters civic pride like no other. Thousands of residents and visitors attend the parade in the morning and the festival in the evening. This free family-friendly festival features a live entertainment\, bounce houses\, face painters\, balloon twisters\, and caricature artists. Lt. Dan's New Legs (LDNL)\, a pop\, dance\, and hip hop band from Columbus\, OH will be performing. Check them out online! Food and beverages available for purchase from food trucks. \n\n\n\n*Fireworks presented by the City of New Albany will start at approximately 9:45pm. LOCATION:Parade begins at 11am New Albany Primary School parking lot and ends at Church of the Resurrection. Parade Route Festival begins at 6pm at New Albany Middle School lawn. Free parade & festival parking at New Albany School lots\, Rose Run Park\, on both sides of the library\, the Heit Center and the New Albany Chamber parking lot.
