DESCRIPTION:iRest  meditation is an evidence-based practice that can support well-being. This form of yogic sleep meditation includes body and breath sensing\, intention-setting and exploring emotions. Research has shown that iRest alleviates insomnia\, chronic pain\, depression\, anxiety\, post-traumatic stress and chemical dependency. These 60-minute classes are appropriate for new and experienced meditators. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat. Chairs will also be available. Classes will be led by certified iRest  teacher and yoga teacher Elizabeth Wood\, E-RYT 500.
