His efforts are being stymied by the caprices of his egotistical ex-wife and co-star\, Lilli Vanessi\, who is brought to life by Senior Izzy Vendetti\, whom he still loves. Adding to this romantic confusion\, Graham is being pursued by gangsters who are seeking repayment of a gambling debt they believe he owes. As if this is not enough\, mix in an exhausted ensemble who have been rehearsing for weeks and weeks\, among other factors.
