DESCRIPTION:Healthy New Albany is honored to be partnering with the experts of the Nationwide Children's Hospital psychology team Dr. Parker Huston\, Dr. Mike Flores and Dr. Ariana Hoet to hear about the groundbreaking "On Our Sleeves" program at NCH. OOS uses evidenced-based educational resources necessary for breaking stigmas about children's mental health and educating families and advocates. Children's mental health is a prevalent and pressing issue impacting every community. With 50% of all lifetime mental illnesses starting at age 14 and 1 in 5 children having an untreated significantly impairing mental health disorder\, these conversations are necessary now more than ever.
