DESCRIPTION:Join Healthy New Albany for our Monthly Lunch & Learn Series! Our September topic is "Episodic Food Insecurity: Understanding How Inflation\, Rising Food Costs\, and the Housing Crisis are Impacting Families"\n\n\n\nWe've all noticed the recent trends: skyrocketing prices on food\, inflation\, higher gas prices\, the shortage of affordable housing\, and more. What we may not fully understand is how all of these issues are converging to create episodic food insecurity and how living "paycheck-to-paycheck" can affect families. September is Hunger Action Month\, so this is an apt time to discuss these issues with our panelists: Glennon Sweeney\, Jennifer Wilcoxon\, and Angie Ojeda-Kreiman.\n\n\n\nOur September Lunch & Learn will take place at the New Albany Food Pantry to allow attendees to gain a better understanding of how we're addressing food insecurity right here in our own community! Tours of the food pantry will be available before the presentation begins.\n\n\n\nLunch will be provided for in-person attendees from The Pit BBQ Grille.
