One day she's bold and talkative\, the next she's distant and withdrawn. Between school stressors and social media pressures\, she needs support to handle life's challenges. Understandably\, the communication gap between girls and adults can make being there for her in the ways that she needs a challenge. You deserve support\, and so does she.\n\n\n\nRuling Our eXperiences (ROX) will facilitate a fun and empowering workshop for female caregivers and girls to strengthen connection and understanding. With the guidance of a licensed counselor\, girls will get to connect with other girls and talk about what it means to "find their voice." Meanwhile\, adults will learn simple strategies for empowering and communicating with their girls. The experience will culminate in a self-defense workshop where girls and adults come together to learn the verbal and physical skills needed for threatening situations.
