DESCRIPTION:What better way to conclude our season than with the musical giant himself\, Ludwig van Beethoven\, and his largest instrumental-only work\, the Eroica Symphony. We are also thrilled to present a world premiere performance of Adam Roberts' Concerto for Percussion and Orchestra\, performed by the uber-talented Cameron Leach. Hovhaness's masterpiece And God Created Whales\, which features real-life humpback whale images and sounds\, rounds out this exciting program. Thank you to the Johnstone Fund for New Music for making this performance possible.
