DESCRIPTION:The New Albany Symphony Orchestra is proud to present the 4th Annual New Albany Independence Day 5k Run & Walk presented by Orange Theory Fitness on Tuesday\, July 4\, 2017! The event will offer a 20 Yard Ready Set Grow Toddler Crawl\, Maple Orthodontics 1/4 Mile Kids FUN Run and a 5k which will have a Run & Walk Division. The races will begin and finish in New Albany's beautiful Market Square starting at 7:55am for the Kids Races and at 8:15am for the 5k Races. This event is a staple in the New Albany community and attracts over 1\,000 people every year! Enjoy live performances along the race course by the New Albany Symphony and local non-profit performing arts groups. All proceeds from the race will benefit the New Albany Symphony Orchestra and several local non-profit performing arts groups including: NAHS Band\, Choir\, Orchestra and Theatre Boosters\, New Albany Children's Ballet Theatre and the New Albany Arts Council.
