DESCRIPTION:The annual Founders Day Celebration was started by the Historical Society in 1976 as part of the nation's Bicentennial celebration. The event has continued on in celebration of the founding father's development of the area now known as Plain Township and the City of New Albany and is funded by donations from the community.\n\n\n\nPlease come and join us for our Founder's Day Parade\, carnival rides\, games\, bounce houses\, costumed characters\, face painting\, balloon twister\, live music\, vendors\, and food trucks at cost.
