DESCRIPTION:Join the Plain Township Fire Department and the Firefighters' Local 3850 to celebrate the 26th annual fire department open house on Sunday\, October 15th from 10:00-2:00 pm. Meet your firefighters\, explore the fire trucks\, and see our new rescue tools.\n\n \n\nIn partnership with the New Albany Food Pantry\, we will be collecting canned food items with a need for crushed tomatoes\, tomato paste\, cornbread mix\, crackers\, and hearty soups.\n\n \n\nAs Fire Prevention week approaches the Plain Township Fire Department wants to remind residents to Cook with Caution. Cooking fires are the number one cause of home fires and home fire injuries.  Make sure to check all the smoke alarms in your home\, and plan and practice your home fire escape plan! If you have any questions or need assistance with smoke or carbon monoxide alarms call the Plain Township Fire Department\, Fire Prevention\, 614.855.7370.
