DESCRIPTION:The Summer of Zen series incorporates the holistic benefits of our Urban Zen class along with a special guest topic. In August\, come experience Urban Zen accompanied by the soothing sounds of nature provided by Jolyn Gallagher (Music Therapist). Allow the rhythmic sounds of nature to promote relaxation and bring you into a meditative state. Urban Zen at the Heit Center is taught by Lori Bower\, M.Ed.\, E-RYT 500\, and consists of a blend of gentle movements\, restorative yoga poses\, aromatherapy\, reiki\, breath practices and guided meditation leaving you feeling calm\, relaxed and revitalized. Note: Registration opens Saturday\, May 19 at 8:00am. Attendees should bring a yoga mat and one or two light blankets with them to each class (for maximum comfort during the class). Please wear comfortable clothing that allows for free range of motion.
