SUMMARY:The Do's and Don'ts of Talking to Children About Race and Racism
DESCRIPTION:The New Albany - Plain Local School District will continue the Well-Being Forum Series for the 2020-21 school year. At this time\, the events will be virtual online forums which may change to in-person based on direction from state and local health officials. \n\n\n\nThe district will also feature Dr. Hasan Kwame Jeffries\, associate professor of history at The Ohio State University where he teaches courses on the Civil Rights and Black Power Movement. Dr. Jeffries will be working with NAPLS and building Diversity\, Equity and Inclusion committees and will present four sessions for our community throughout the school year.
