Open House will be held at the New Albany First Church of the Nazarene\, 6000 Johnstown Road\, New Albany\, 43054.All are welcome to attend our Open House and as many meetings as you choose\; attendance is free. Guests who are interested in joining may do so. Toastmasters is a great way to develop personally and professionally\, in a supportive and encouraging environment. It is an enjoyable way to practice and hone communication and leadership skills\, while working at your own pace. Participants practice and learn skills by filling a meeting role\, ranging from giving a prepared or impromptu speech\, to serving as a timer\, evaluator or grammarian. Each speech and meeting is critiqued by a member in a constructive way. We communicate in a positive manner\, focusing on what was done right and what could be improved. Good communicators tend to be good leaders!We meet on the first and third Tuesday of each month\, from 6:30 until 8:00 pm at the New Albany First Church of the Nazarene.
