The annual 4th of July Parade is a traditional hometown parade open to anyone who wants to participate. What‚ is more memorable than sitting on the sidewalk waving the American Flag as the Color Guard and local groups proudly march past? Children and adults still boast a broad smile at the tractors, costumed characters and decorated bicycles; not to mention the lively musical groups, youth organizations, New Albany High School Marching Band, and all of the creative floats. Continue the tradition and be a part of the annual Independence Day Parade! Be as patriotic as possible. The float entrants in the parade have the opportunity to be judged Best of Theme, Mayor's Award and Most Patriotic. Awards will be presented at 9:30 a.m. at the New Albany Middle School parking lot. If you are interested in participating in the parade, please fill out the registration forms.
