Using age-appropriate activities, games and challenges, girls will learn techniques for building strength, conditioning, and increasing mobility. We will also spend some time in the kitchen learning about nutrition and how what we eat affects us each day. Girls will then take what they learn to prepare a healthy recipe. After cooking, participants can enjoy their snack while we reflect on what we learned and can continue to use every day. Each session will combine fitness activities with nutrition and cooking instruction to help each girl develop confidence, responsibility and knowledge in improving their own wellness.
