New Albany Symphony ''Mahler Unplugged''
The New Albany Symphony opens its 2010-2011 concert season under the direction of Maestro Luis Biava. Internationally-recognized violinist Chee-Yun (www.chee-yun.net) joins the orchestra, bringing her staggering virtuosity and musicality" (American Record Guide) to Prokofiev's Second Violin Concerto. Mahler's titanic Symphony No. 1 in D major rounds out the program for an afternoon of brilliance and enchantment.
