New Albany Walking Classic
The 2020 Walking Classic is going to be a VIRTUAL 10k (6.2 miles) This means that registrants can complete the 10k distance between September 1 - September 13, 2020. The race can take place at any time and can be completed in segments or all at once on a course determined by you. You can design your own course and track an accurate distance by using an app such as MapMyRun, Apple Watch, STRAVA, etc.
It has become the premier walking event in the United States, bringing national status and attention to our efforts to create a culture of health one footstep at a time.
The New Albany Walking Classic, established in 2005, is a 10k (6.2 miles) walking event that is the largest of its kind in North America. The event places an emphasis on wellness.
