Pelotonia Race
The 180 mile cycling tour in which riders raise funds for cancer research engages riders from over 38 states with almost 5,000 riders will finish their tour in New Albany. One day riders will finish in Bevelhymer Park on Aug. 11th; two day riders will finish at Market Street. The sites were selected due to this zip code having the largest number of riders. Also, the new route goes north to Kenyon College in Gambier and New Albany is on that route. Each rider raises sponsorship money to participate and 100 percent of the money is donated to the Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center, Arthur James Hospital.
