There will be a city dedication event in honor of Bill Resch on July 2nd at Resch Park starting at 3:30 PM. This celebration will include the official dedication of the park which is located across from the Church of the Resurrection. The 5 acre park includes the site of the historic Ealy House home. Parking would be best at the church and then you could walk across the street.
Bill has had a huge impact on the development of our community and the preservation and creation of natural areas, including our schools’ 83 acre nature preserve. As a grant writer, he has brought in millions of dollars in funding for the city and schools. I know many of you and your students have explored the wetlands with Bill and have some great stories and memories to share. We hope to see you at the dedication!
