The "Eat the Rainbow" Garden Pizza Challenge

The "Eat the Rainbow" Garden Pizza Challenge (Grades 4–6) In this action-packed, hands-on cooking class, students will step into the kitchen to stretch their own dough, master essential chef knife skills (using kid-safe knives), and craft a vibrant, gourmet personal pizza from scratch. But there’s a twist! Chefs will be challenged to "Eat the Rainbow" by designing a beautiful edible masterpiece using at least four different colors of fresh, seasonal vegetables. Through fun trivia and a hands-on topping bar, we will explore the "superpowers" of phytonutrients—learning how different colored foods fuel our bodies, boost our brains, and provide long-lasting energy.
