Summer Skateboarding Class
Taught by talented NAHS students working towards an Eagle Scout Project, the Summer Skateboarding Class is for beginner and intermediate level skaters. During the hour long class, numerous skills will be introduced and practiced. Skills include: safety, mobility techniques, tricks such as the ollie, and ramp skating. On the final day of class, participants will meet at the Westerville Skate Park to show off their skills. Participants will be broken down into small groups based on skill level to honor social distancing requirements. Helmets are required for participation and wrist guards are strongly recommended.
Beginner skateboards, helmets and pads can be purchased at Old Skool Skate Shop in Westerville located at 11 E. College Avenue.
Ages: 10+ (including college students who want a new way to get around campus)
