Adventure Eagles- Environmental Explorers
Join Adventure Eagles, a program designed for young citizen scientists, nature enthusiasts, and explorers in grades 4-6. This innovative initiative goes beyond traditional learning by empowering youth to deepen their understanding of the natural world and better understand their place in it. Each time we meet for this class we will travel to a different part of the nature preserve. We will visit the vernal pools and try to catch frogs. We will explore the deep water basin area looking for track and signs of wildlife. We will learn how to build a debris hut in Swickard Woods and use binoculars as we hike and look for birds in the forest canopy. Through all these activities we will be strengthening our connection to the natural world. Are you prepared for your next exhilarating nature expedition?
