"The Impact of Diabetes on Employee Populations and the Minority Workforce"
The Annual Business Address is an opportunity for the business community to learn how diabetes affects an organization?s bottom line, productivity, health and quality of life of employees.
Experts from The Ohio State University Medical Center, Lilly USA and Columbus State Community College will discuss the treatment and management of diabetes in the minority workforce, the cost and prevalence of the disease in Central Ohio and the benefits of prevention-focused employee wellness programs. Employers will be provided with information to improve the health of their workforce, which can eventually reduce costs to their company.
