The New Albany Chamber is partnering with Experience Columbus to offer the Experience Columbus Insider (ECI) Accreditation Course right here in New Albany.
This class provides a comprehensive overview of Columbus, focusing on its attractions, neighborhoods, brand, and visitor and relocation resources, ensuring participants are well-equipped to navigate and share all that the city has to offer. During this interactive course you will learn all the insider information to use and share with clients looking to relocate to the city or interested in moving to a different area.
After becoming accredited, you will also receive a year of benefits that include behind-the-scenes tours, exclusive networking and volunteer events, free deep dive webinars, discounts at local businesses, and an Insider newsletter with the latest Columbus information. This course is run, written, and produced by Experience Columbus, the convention and visitor’s bureau for the city of Columbus.

- Event Planners and Organizers - Those hosting conferences, meetings, or events in Columbus and looking to provide tailored experiences for attendees.
- Community Ambassadors - Volunteers, tour guides, or city advocates who promote Columbus to visitors.

Marie Kuess is the Senior Program Manager of Destination Experience at Experience Columbus, the destination marketing organization for the Columbus region. In her role, she directs group tour efforts and manages the Experience Columbus Insider Program (ECI), the organization’s relocation programs and the Volunteer with Columbus program. Prior to working at Experience Columbus, Marie was the Director of Membership at the Ohio Association of Nonprofit Organizations and a Field Organizer for Organizing for America. Marie holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from The Ohio State University and is a member of Leadership Columbus’ Class of 2025 and a board member for Visit Grove City.
