Flavoring with Herbs: Fresh vs Dried
Come enjoy our Community Kitchen cooking class! This month's topic is: Flavoring with Herbs: Fresh vs. Dried. Guest instructor Janell K. Baran (of Blue Owl Forest Farm/Garden Emporium) will lead on how to dry herbs (and which ones aren't worth it), using fresh herbs vs. dried herbs, and more! Our Community Kitchen cooking classes provide food for the soul through both inspirational cooking and hospitality in the true sense of the word. Join us in the Healthy New Albany kitchen to try new recipes and cooking techniques in a hands-on, relaxed environment that is as much about loving your neighbors as it is about cooking. This class is offered in partnership with the New Albany Food Pantry and $25 from every $30 registration helps support their mission of making good food available to everyone. (this class is a reschedule from September's cooking class that was cancelled due to a family emergency) $25 of every $30 participant fee goes directly to the New Albany Food Pantry. You may choose to make a larger donation when you register for the class. 100% of any additional donations go directly to the NA Food Pantry.
