Holiday Tree Lighting and Holiday Skate

Celebrate the holiday season in New Albany with the annual tree lighting ceremony at Rose Run Park, featuring a NEW location for the tree this year! Join the community at 5 p.m. for carols led by a children’s choir, a countdown with Santa and the Mayor, and free hot beverages and donuts. Before the lighting, head to the Hinson Amphitheater for Santa Skate from noon to 4:30 p.m. Families can enjoy festive skating, take a photo with Santa, write a letter to the North Pole, and decorate a jingle bell. Admission is $15 per person and includes skate rental and all activities. The ice rink will remain open until 8 p.m.
