I Am Thriving - An Experience for Cancer Survivors
"I Am Thriving" is a comprehensive and unique experience to empower cancer survivors on their health journey. This 8-week program meets two nights per week at the Philip Heit Center in New Albany. "I Am Thriving" is all about improving participants' overall wellbeing, including physical, mental, emotional, and social health.
"I Am Thriving" is designed for any woman who is a cancer survivor (regardless of age, where she resides, or when she received a cancer diagnosis). The program is capped at 12 participants, in order to facilitate a sense of community and allow the group to form meaningful relationships with each other.
This program is coordinated by Healthy New Albany (a 501c3 non-profit) in partnership with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center's Health and Fitness Center and in collaboration with The James Cancer Hospital and James Care for Life.
