iRest® meditation is an evidence-based practice that can support well-being. This form of yogic sleep meditation includes body and breath sensing, intention-setting and exploring emotions. Research has shown that iRest alleviates insomnia, chronic pain, depression, anxiety, post-traumatic stress and chemical dependency. These 60-minute classes are appropriate for new and experienced meditators. Wear comfortable clothing and bring a yoga mat. Chairs will also be available. Classes will be led by certified iRest® teacher and yoga teacher Elizabeth Wood, E-RYT 500.
