Juneteenth Celebration
Juneteenth is the holiday that marks the end of slavery in the United States, has been observed for over 150 years and is considered by some to be our country’s second Independence Day.
New Albany’s event will take place at the Hinson Amphitheater on Monday, June 19 from 4 – 8 p.m. and includes spoken word performances, drumming and dancing, music, children’s activities and food trucks.
