Sudden Cardiac Arrest is a risk often associated with the elderly, but it’s actually much more common in youth than you may think. In fact, in the U.S., one young athlete dies every 3 or 4 days from Sudden Cardiac Arrest (SCA), making it the #1 cause of death among student athletes. Each year, thousands of children, teens, and young adults suffer SCA from undetected heart conditions, often resulting in death.
