Tai Chi for Arthritis + Fall Prevention
Join Kathy Campbell* in our upcoming Tai Chi for Arthritis & Fall Prevention series, developed by Dr. Paul Lam and has been endorsed by the American Arthritis Association. Tai Chi improves balance, both mentally and physically, and significantly reduces the rate of falls in older adults. Practicing Tai Chi for Arthritis + Fall Prevention can help reduce pain by increasing muscular strength, supporting and protecting your joints. Flexibility exercises within this practice can also help to reduce pain and stiffness, improving mobility.
*Kathy Campbell is an Occupational Therapist and is certified to teach Tai Chi for Arthritis through the Tai Chi for Health Institute. She has been teaching this course for five years and has taught at the Gahanna YMCA and the Gahanna Senior Center.
