Far Out. Awesome. Lit. Fire.
If you’ve ever wondered what people from other generations are actually saying, this event is for you! Join the City of New Albany for a fun and thought-provoking intergenerational event, where Boomers (1946–1964) Gen X (1965–1980), Millennials (1981–1996), Gen Z (1997-2012) and Gen Alpha (2013-present) come together to explore how each generation communicates, thinks, and experiences the world.
Using the principles of improv comedy, this interactive program will turn those “hmmm…” moments into “ahhh!” as we unpack slang, technology, and the perspectives shaping today’s generations. Ever wondered what’s going on in your iPad kid’s head? Curious why your parents text the way they do? We’ll laugh and learn together.
This City of New Albany IDEA Implementation Panel initiative celebrates the diverse strengths of every generation while helping build better communication across ages. Heavy appetizers and non-alcoholic beverages provided.
