Operations Director

Position Overview: The Operations Director at NAPC will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of church operations. This role is critical in ensuring the smooth functioning of church activities, maintaining the facilities, and supporting the church's mission by providing excellent operational leadership.

The Operations Director will work closely with the Operations Committee, Lead Pastor, Associate Pastor, staff, and volunteers to create a welcoming and efficient environment for the congregation and community.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Facilities Management: Oversee facility operations, vendor relationships, security, building access, and event setups while serving as the primary contact for building usage and Sunday operations.

  2. Financial Management: Manage the church’s budget, financial resources, and policies in collaboration with the Finance Committee, ensuring accountability and proper stewardship.

  3. Resource Management: Oversee and optimize church resources, including finances, facilities, technology, and staff, while improving administrative processes for efficiency and engagement.

  4. Leadership and Support: Provide proactive leadership and support by anticipating needs, overseeing staff and volunteers, and ensuring smooth church operations, especially on weekends.

  5. Strategic Planning and Execution: Collaborate with church leadership to execute strategic plans, improve operations, and provide updates on projects and cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications:

  • - Commitment to the mission and values of NAPC Church.
  • - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.

  • - Minimum of 5 years of experience in operations/facilities management, preferably in a church or non-profit setting.

  • - Strong leadership and organizational skills.

  • - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • - Ability to anticipate needs, think strategically, and provide practical solutions.

  • - Experience with IT management and administrative platforms.
