Awesome Entertainment Celebrates 30 Years of Creating Awesome Events


Columbus, Ohio — Awesome Entertainment proudly celebrates 30 years of bringing awesome 
energy, excitement, and experiences to events across Ohio and beyond.


Founded in 1996 by Curtis Lovell II, CEO of Awesome Entertainment, the company’s 
journey began with a simple but powerful vision — to create awesome moments through events. 
What makes this milestone even more remarkable is that Lovell started the business while still in 
high school, driven by a passion for entertainment and community events.

From humble beginnings — including riding a bicycle to print his very first business cards — 
Lovell has grown Awesome Entertainment into one of the largest and most respected event and 
party rental companies in the region.

Today, under Lovell’s leadership, the company produces between 2,700 and 3,000 events 
annually
, ranging from backyard celebrations to large-scale corporate functions, school events, 
and community festivals — all designed to deliver an awesome experience.

Built on Community and Growth
Over the past three decades, Awesome Entertainment has remained deeply rooted in the 
communities it serves. From local neighborhood parties to major city-wide celebrations, the 
company has helped bring people together through shared, awesome experiences.

What started with simple entertainment offerings — like costumed characters and a single 
bounce house — has evolved into a full-service event provider with a multi-million-dollar 
inventory including rides, inflatables, casino experiences, photo booths, Ohio’s largest 
inflatable slide,
and more.

From Backyard Startup to Industry Leader
As demand grew, so did the company’s operations. In 2018, Awesome Entertainment expanded 
into a 32,000+ square-foot warehouse and operations facility, allowing the team to support 
larger events and maintain a growing inventory of awesome attractions and equipment.

Behind every event is a dedicated team of planners, technicians, entertainers, and support staff — 
all working together to deliver seamless and awesome event experiences.
